Zachary Lieberman
Artist and computer programmer, openFrameworks.cc, New York
Zachary Lieberman’s work uses technology in a playful and enigmatic way to explore the nature of communication and the delicate boundary between the visible and the invisible. He creates performances, installations, and on-line works that investigate gestural input, augmentation of the body, and kinetic response.more >>

Erik Stolterman
Director of Human-Computer Interaction Design Program, Indiana University, Bloomington, USA
Erik Stolterman is Professor of Informatics at the School of Informatics and Computing, Indiana University, Bloomington. His main work is within interaction design, philosophy and theory of design, information technology and society, information systems design, and philosophy of technology. Stolterman has published articles and several books, for instance “Thoughtful Interaction Design” (2004, MIT Press) and “The Design Way” (2003). more >>

Heather Martin
Heather Martin is a designer whose career has spanned consulting, teaching and research in the field of interaction design.
She currently works at Smart Design’s European office in Barcelona as Director of Interaction Design. At Smart Design she manages integrated teams in the designing of inspiring and meaningful products and services across all touch points. Before moving to Barcelona, she was a co-founder and Managing Director of CIID, the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
Prior to setting up CIID, Heather was the Academic Director and Associate Professor advising MA students at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea (IDII) in Italy . Simultaneously she worked on creating new interfaces for various clients including Sony and Artemide. Before joining IDII she worked at IDEO as a senior interaction designer and project manager where she was the creative lead for IDEO on the Prada New York Epicentre project done in collaboration with Rem Koolhaas and OMA/AMO.
She also led a worldwide team at IDEO on the creation of a wireless LAN in-flight entertainment device for use on-board private VIP airplanes by Lufthansa Technik. Prior to joining IDEO Heather was a full-time research fellow in Computer Related Design Research Studio at the Royal College of Art, creating new applications for proprietary technology for Hewlett Packard Labs. She was also been a visiting tutor at the RCA and Central St. Martins University. Previous to studying interaction design at the RCA she spent 3 years as a product designer at Tangerine in London. Heather holds a BA in Product Design from Newcastle University and a MA in Interaction Design from the Royal College of Art.
